Public Speaker and Trainer – Mike has delivered keynotes and training to thousands of professionals in top companies worldwide. Among them: Wolters Kluwer, Dassault Systèmes, Staples, Gillette, Cisco Systems, RSA Security (EMC), Silicon Valley Bank, M&T Bank, ADP, OneSource, Forrester Research, Yankee Group, Borland Software, Sun-guard Treasury Systems, Reuters, Telephone Workers Credit Union, Brainshark, Gerson Lehrman, and IBM.
Mike works directly with executives, team leaders and individuals through coaching sessions, training seminars and keynote presentations to turn positive attitude into a competitive edge.
Sales Leader – Mike has led several sales organizations, served on multiple executive teams and founded ReGenerate, a Positive Psychology training company. He was the Executive Vice President of Sales and Service and executive team member at Grand Circle Travel. From 1998 to 2003, as Vice President of North American Sales at Forrester Research, Mike spearheaded multiple initiatives designed to drive sales and scale the sales organization. Mike was also responsible for integrating the North American and global sales forces when Forrester acquired Giga Information Group. He implemented the company’s selling methodology, pipeline structure, opportunity management systems, account plans, and operational reviews highlighting key performance indicators of the sales organization.
Psychology Specialist – Mike holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute focusing on performance, goal orientation, goal setting, and feedback. He also completed a six-month University of Pennsylvania program specializing in Positive Psychology.
Coach and Athlete – Mike has been a competitor and a coach all his life. He served as an NCAA Division I Assistant Men’s Ice Hockey Coach at Rensselaer. It was there that he conducted performance improvement field studies at the individual and team levels. He was captain of Rensselaer’s 1985 NCAA Championship ice hockey team, considered one of the greatest college hockey teams of all time. He is also a member of his college and high school athletic Halls of Fame.
